What is VisualEyes?

Whatever your age, if you wish to support, protect and nourish your eyes from within, look no further! VisualEyes has higher strength actives including 8 times more lutein from a concentrated source, and high concentrations of our ingredients - meso-zeaxanthin and vegan DHA for proven eyesight benefits*. Meso-zeaxanthin is a carotenoid known to be concentrated in the centre of the macula at the back of the eye and along with lutein and zeaxanthin is recommended by opticians in order to maintain sharp vision and healthy eyes. *Beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250mg DHA.

Why is ours better?

Just one capsule of our eye formula provides 12mg lutein with 2.5mg zeaxanthin and 5mg meso-zeaxanthin, in addition to other eye supporting nutrients such as vitamin A, zinc and vitamin B2 which all contribute to the maintenance of normal vision. We have also added vegan DHA and anthocyanidin-rich bilberry which has long been associated with eye health to make a vegetarian and vegan friendly formula.

Who is this for?

Eye care is important for everyone, but particularly if you spend long periods of time looking at screens, be they computers, tablets, phones or the TV screen. Prolonged screen time can lead to irritated, dry eyes, fatigue and blurry vision. Not only that, but factors such as a diet lacking in sufficient fruits and vegetables., pollution, prolonged sun exposure and natural ageing can all be risk factor for conditions such as cataracts and macular degeneration.

Adults take 1-2 capsules (children 12 years and over, take 1 capsule) a day with meals. Do not exceed recommended daily intake. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.

It is our aim to offer a fast and reliable delivery service, using the method specified in the checkout procedure. The cost of your delivery is automatically calculated depending on the total value of your order. Any order £30 and above is free of charge.

We ship orders Monday to Friday. Orders placed after 3pm on a Friday will be despatched the following week. We always endeavour to despatch orders as soon as possible, often within 24 hours. However, selecting 24hour delivery does not necessarily mean you will receive your parcel the next day.  We will sometimes need to order items in from suppliers to complete your order (i.e. non-stock items or those which have sold out of in the shop). If we expect a delay of more than a few days with your order, we will contact you to advise. If you need one or more of your items urgently then please do feel free to contact our online team on info@elixirhealth.co.uk for a more accurate idea of despatch times. 

It is always best to allow up to seven working days for delivery but unfortunately this can sometimes take longer. 

International shipping: We cannot guarantee delivery dates for overseas deliveries as they are sometimes subject to customs clearance and delays in the destination country. Whilst we are happy to ship internationally (some exceptions apply), we are unfortunately unable to advise on the fees you may be charged on receipt of your delivery. We are not able to issue refunds for parcels rejected due to these fees, so if you wish to proceed with your international order then we advise that you must do so at your own risk.

If you have ordered from one of the countries we are not permitted to ship to then our team will contact you and arrange for the order to be cancelled & refunded. International shipping may be more restricted for some items and ingredients.

 

Other Important Information

Where it is not possible for Royal Mail to deliver your order, it will be held at your local Royal Mail office for 5 days before being returned to us. To contact your local sorting office to arrange re-delivery or collection, please call 08457 740 740 in the UK.

We would advise that you check your local sorting office before contacting us if delivery has taken more than seven working days in the UK and Overseas, although overseas customers may have to wait up to two weeks.

If your order has been 'lost in the post’, it will only be investigated 17 working days after it was shipped because it is only after this period that the Royal Mail regards postage as officially lost.

European customers should note that in some rare occasions parcels do appear to take longer than usual to arrive and in such occasions it may be necessary to wait longer before further action is taken. This is largely because of the varied quality of postal services throughout Eurozone countries.

After the post office has completed its investigations, it will subsequently refund Elixir for the value of the parcel and postage and package. Upon receiving our costs from the post office your replacement parcel will then be re-sent, or your costs reimbursed if the product is no longer required. Customers are therefore advised to request signed for deliveries to ensure full tracking opportunities.

Depending upon the weight of your consignment we will inform you of the price separately.

Every order we send is despatched either first class Royal Mail, or if the parcel exceeds 1kg, at our discretion, send the goods by parcel post, which can take a few days longer to reach you. On any recorded delivery, a signature may be required on delivery. In the case of recorded deliveries which fail to be delivered an acknowledgement card will be left stating the time and place for you to collect. International orders will take a little longer.

Please Note: If orders weigh more than two kilos we will often send packages in two separate boxes in the interests of security and safety.

As an online retailer, we are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week for you to place your online order. Our web team are available to pack and ship items Monday to Friday. Our delivery schedule is also governed by the Post Office opening. Please also consider Public Holiday closing.
