Ubiquinone CoQ10 is Pharma Nord’s Bio-Quinone Active Q10 capsule, containing coenzyme Q10 in the form of ubiquinone in its natural identical form. This unique preparation delivers coenzyme Q10 in the active formula that is present in over 90 scientific studies to provide a consistently high level of bioavailability.
Coenzyme Q10 is essential for the normal functioning of all tissues due to its role in the cellular energy production process. Both heart and skeletal muscles have the highest energy requirements of all bodily tissues, and are particularly reliant on adequate Q10 as a result.
We have spent more than 25 years developing and optimizing Bio-Quinone Q10 for the sole purpose of producing a coenzyme Q10 preparation which scientifically can document its superior bioavailability and quality.
Coenzyme Q10 occurs naturally within every cell in the human body, we cannot live without it. It is a vitamin-like substance which is found in our mitochondria (structures within cells responsible for energy production). It is also important as an antioxidant, associated with various health benefits.
Approximately three quarters of the body’s Q10 is made within the liver. You can obtain small amounts of coQ10 from food. Our Q10 levels peak between the ages of 20 and 25. As the body’s ability to manufacture/absorb Q10 declines with age, our levels of Q10 will also decline. Dietary supplementation can help to maintain optimal levels of coenzyme Q10 within the body.

The raw material is produced by specialized yeast cells and is identical to the coenzyme Q10 produced by the body. In contrast to bacteria-fermented Q10, this yeast-fermented Q10 does not contain any yeast components or impurities of unknown nature. The raw material is completely free of harmful cis-isomers, often found in cheap synthetic Q10 raw materials of low quality. All raw materials used in the Bio-Quinone Active Q10 supplement undergo an extensive quality control before production.
Using a special manufacturing technique the Q10 crystals completely dissolve at body temperature. It is this complete solution of Q10, a high quality raw material and manufacturing according to the pharmaceutical and the GMP protocol, which is the reason that Bio-Quinone Active Q10 supplement has achieved such good bioavailability of the active substance.
Q10 is a fat-soluble substance which is difficult for the body to absorb. It is our aim to offer a fast and reliable delivery service, using the method specified in the checkout procedure. The cost of your delivery is automatically calculated depending on the total value of your order. Any order £30 and above is free of charge.
We ship orders Monday to Friday. Orders placed after 3pm on a Friday will be despatched the following week. We always endeavour to despatch orders as soon as possible, often within 24 hours. However, selecting 24hour delivery does not necessarily mean you will receive your parcel the next day. We will sometimes need to order items in from suppliers to complete your order (i.e. non-stock items or those which have sold out of in the shop). If we expect a delay of more than a few days with your order, we will contact you to advise. If you need one or more of your items urgently then please do feel free to contact our online team on info@elixirhealth.co.uk for a more accurate idea of despatch times.
It is always best to allow up to seven working days for delivery but unfortunately this can sometimes take longer.
International shipping: We cannot guarantee delivery dates for overseas deliveries as they are sometimes subject to customs clearance and delays in the destination country. Whilst we are happy to ship internationally (some exceptions apply), we are unfortunately unable to advise on the fees you may be charged on receipt of your delivery. We are not able to issue refunds for parcels rejected due to these fees, so if you wish to proceed with your international order then we advise that you must do so at your own risk.
If you have ordered from one of the countries we are not permitted to ship to then our team will contact you and arrange for the order to be cancelled & refunded. International shipping may be more restricted for some items and ingredients.
Other Important Information
Where it is not possible for Royal Mail to deliver your order, it will be held at your local Royal Mail office for 5 days before being returned to us. To contact your local sorting office to arrange re-delivery or collection, please call 08457 740 740 in the UK.
We would advise that you check your local sorting office before contacting us if delivery has taken more than seven working days in the UK and Overseas, although overseas customers may have to wait up to two weeks.
If your order has been 'lost in the post’, it will only be investigated 17 working days after it was shipped because it is only after this period that the Royal Mail regards postage as officially lost.
European customers should note that in some rare occasions parcels do appear to take longer than usual to arrive and in such occasions it may be necessary to wait longer before further action is taken. This is largely because of the varied quality of postal services throughout Eurozone countries.
After the post office has completed its investigations, it will subsequently refund Elixir for the value of the parcel and postage and package. Upon receiving our costs from the post office your replacement parcel will then be re-sent, or your costs reimbursed if the product is no longer required. Customers are therefore advised to request signed for deliveries to ensure full tracking opportunities.
Depending upon the weight of your consignment we will inform you of the price separately.

Every order we send is despatched either first class Royal Mail, or if the parcel exceeds 1kg, at our discretion, send the goods by parcel post, which can take a few days longer to reach you. On any recorded delivery, a signature may be required on delivery. In the case of recorded deliveries which fail to be delivered an acknowledgement card will be left stating the time and place for you to collect. International orders will take a little longer.
Please Note: If orders weigh more than two kilos we will often send packages in two separate boxes in the interests of security and safety.
